Terms of Service

Linguist in U provides online language instruction, educational coaching, and digital learning resources. By accessing this website, booking services, or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms & Policies.

Services Offered

Linguist in U offers:

  • Live online language lessons

  • Occasional in-person lessons by private arrangement only

  • Educational materials and digital products, including PDFs, slides, and courses

All services are educational in nature.

Eligibility

Services are available to individuals 14 years of age and older.
Students under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Scheduling & Attendance

  • Sessions are scheduled through Acuity Scheduling.

  • Clients are responsible for booking and managing appointments.

  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals do not extend session length.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are considered used and are not refunded or rescheduled.

Packages

  • Lesson packages do not expire.

  • Package credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser unless otherwise approved.

  • Packages are non-refundable once purchased.

Payments

  • All payments must be made in advance.

  • Payments are processed securely through third-party platforms such as PayPal.

  • Linguist in U does not store full payment information.

No specific academic, linguistic, or professional outcomes are guaranteed. Results vary based on individual effort, attendance, and practice.

Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

  • Missed sessions due to client connectivity issues
